A geodesic dome (wikipedia) is a spherical or partial-spherical shell structure or lattice shell based on a network of great circles (geodesics) lying on the surface of a sphere. The geodesics intersect to form triangular elements that have local triangular rigidity and also distribute the stress across the entire structure. When completed to form a full sphere, it is known as a geodesic sphere.

Geodesic domes are much stronger and more efficient than conventional square structures. They also promote wellness and positive cymatics because of the sacred geometrical design.

There are many sites out there to order plans and kits to setup a dome for yourself. Domes are typically framed with steel or timber and canvass or plywood for the external shell.
