Full City Roast Coffees

Our intermediate roast style. Our Full City-roasted coffee beans are medium to dark brown in color and are generally dry though they are dotted with tiny droplets or patches of oil. Their acidity* tends to be somewhat muted, compared to our Medium Roast, which is characterized by a more pronounced level of acidity.

With the Full City Roast, the ability to discern the flavor characteristics of the green coffee is somewhat dampened. This roast is also known as a Viennese, Light French, Espresso, Light Espresso, Continental, After-Dinner, and European roast. According to coffeereview.com, this roast is considered the regular roast for the West and is the norm for northern-Italian style espresso.
